We start in the village of Castellabate, which grew up around the castle built at the behest of an abbot in the 12th century: alleyways, arches, little squares and the viewpoint looking out over the whole gulf. We tell you its story and why it also became famous thanks to the cinema.
Then we head down towards the sea and walk through the pine woods to Punta Licosa, inside the marine protected area: just offshore is the islet with its lighthouse and, on clear days, you can see Capri and the Amalfi Coast.
