The Civic Multimedia Museum of P, dedicated to archaeology and the Risorgimento, is allocated in the old Palazzo Brando, a historic residence Padulese located near the town hall and in the vicinity of the 14th century church of St. Augustine, Ecclesiastical complex Desecrated which currently houses a collection of handmade cribs. Wanted by the municipality, who bought the property in 2002, the Civic Multimedia Museum, designed by Prof. Fabrizio Mango of Santo Stefano, offers visitors, schoolchildren and scholars a unique interactive route, through talking screens and wardrobes, on the millenary history of the old and the Vallo di Diano, from the prehistoric to the nineteenth century. From the virtual revival of archaeological finds to the "rooms of the Treasury" of an intellectual padulese we pass to the glorious vicissitudes of the Risorgimento, which have clearly affected the Vallo of Diano since 1799. The highlight of the visit is reached in the last room of the upper floor, where you can attend a "trial" to Carlo Pisacane, unfortunate protagonist of the expedition of 1857 to the end between the ship of Lago and Sanza. Through the testimonies of Mazzini and Garibaldi, the wife of Pisacane, but also of today's intellectuals, there is always a topic: Is it right, for consistency, to try to reach a goal, even if the chances of success are scarce?
